make sure there is a provision for a huge train terminal for both passenger HSRs and freight trains somewhere behind, beside or near that structure. For not all people from Luzon can come in easily by bus or car.

sure...the Northrail is just a stone's throw away...that red broken line on east side of NLEX will be the MRT-7 and C-6 extension...

The nice thing about this location is that you have 2 major road systems (NLEX and MacArthur Highway) nearby. Make that 3 if the Manila-Bataan Coastal Highway materializes soon.

This location if and when it becomes home to the new airport will revitalize the towns of Bulakan, Obando, Balagtas, Bocaue, Marilao and the cities of Meycauyan and Malolos.

That small island on the river delta in front of Malolos or in front of Bgy. San Nicolas, Bulakan looks ideal for the Oil Depot. Surounded by water and far away from populated areas and the airport but near to the wharf/pier.

And will there be a solar power plant that can be built as a power generation source for the airport? If so, where?

In modern building designs which were presented at the ASEAN thread last year, new skyscrapers are wrapped around in solar panels or huge flat structures like malls have solar panels on the roofs. No need for a separate building because individual solar panels are detachable, versatile and can be attached to that airport, the most likely part will be the roof canopy.

Behold the new solar powered Kuwait Airport.

For wind power, huge wind turbines are placed in a row in the shallow part of the sea near the coast and near the airports in Amsterdam and Copenhagen. It can also be done in a shallow part off the coast of Bulacan prolley near Valenzuela.

That would be a very nice concept. I would love to see the airport roof to serve multiple purposes... Providing power for the terminals while allowing natural light to go through.

A very sleek and modern airport indeed! Slow be sloping low somewhat so it will be able to withstand the 20 or so typhoons that pass the country yearly.

Solar and wind power, yes - as much as possible as long as there is minimal risk of the propellers flying away due to supertyphoons.

Right. I would love to see those panels be installed at the airport.

There are solar panels that can also be adapted for use in your new Philippine Arena by the way...

****

I really love the concept of that moat. It almost reminds me of the original Intramuros.

There are so many possibilities there.

a.) We can convert that moat into a long park surrounding the whole airport lined with trees and sloping paved riverbanks where people can promenade, do kayaking, boating, rowing, fishing and keep it clean like the Pasig during the Commonwealth Era ...

or

b.) if the jejemon rat squatter armies are stubborn, we can build an Intramuros Wall around the new airport and fill the moat with estuarine crocodiles. *kidding*

yah,,,last year when i go rnr via Amsterdam (Schipol), you can see the wind turbines while the plane descends on one of the runway...

Wahahahaha instead of the jejemon squatter armies, can those be replaced by corrupt politicians?

And also, will water used at the airport be recycled as well?

You sure you are not referring to the crocodiles? We have the biggest estuarine crocodile in captivity! That means there are more of his kin lurking around

ha ha ha...good idea....
however, that moat is designed as diverted creeks or channel for flood water and other tributaries (CDV waste water will flow also there...
Remember also that we have to elevate the airport ground.

I think money is better spent towards recycling trash than water. We are not a desert country in the Middle East, you know. But we used to be infamous for Smokey Mountain. So prioritizing trash makes more sense.
