wala naman ako talaga masasabi sa PAL airport dahil sa pag-uusap-usap ay parang meron akong nakikitang issue sa mga terrain na sa aking palagay ay tataas lamang ang gastos kahit pwede naman talagang gawan ng paraan.

I just noted that there seems to be 4 runways on the drawing, 2 per each side. Like in most airports with that kinda layout, there has to be interconnectivity by both runways at both ends, the North runway and the South runway must be connected at both ends by taxiways. It can be done by moving the terminal building and tower slightly forward/ more center and adjusting the North runway slightly back a bit.

Both North and South runway pairs must be at least 13,000+ somethin and must have good pavement strength enough to allow A380s to land in.

The maintenance hangar (Lufthansa Technik or PAL or both) must be bigger than its current size.

This is really a good idea, but... we may not know that this part of Bulacan is a flood prone area being only less than 10 meters above sea. (Marikina is about 40 to 55 meters above sea level. Sea elevation is based on Google Earth) So I think in order for this to push through, proper elevation of the whole airport infra must be taken into consideration including the elevated roadways and mass passenger transit system. Can some engineers here post some of their thoughts on how to come up with the idea? I think that the place is strategic and it may be a win win situation for not putting up bigger amount of money for infra upgrades in the NAIA area plus it will decongest traffic volumes air and land vehicles in pasay.

oh I see, I see what he's trying to do nang-iintriga pa with the map.

The sly silver fox theabe is attempting na ipagsabong Bulacan versus Cavite bashing spree on both sides parang MMA mixed martial arts, matira matibay and the eventual winner for him will be ... Clark.

Basta we're not biting, neutral laang kami teka bibili muna ko popcorn and coke.

Nope. This is the PAL thread. So, any possible location should be considered for purposes of discussion (pros and cons). Besides, close na kami kaya wala na sa amin yan. And may the best location win.

I've always admitted that personal choice ko ang Cavite due proximity to my habitat.

Btw, saka ka lang nagpost dito out of the woodworks when I posted that, hoping to spur something else.

And like the Obama-Romney contest, kahit talo si Romney na manok ko ay marurunong kami mag-concede. At sinabi ko rin na okay lang Bulacan if it won by merits coz sports lang.

May dugong ahas ka ba talaga coz yer twisting words right outta my posts. Either that or you just don't know how to concede defeat for Clark already. With any PAL airport, Clark is doomed to secondary status in our lifetime.

to be frank with you, ayaw ko nga mag post dito dahil i am not familiar with the bulacan location. I am more familiar with the cavite location but since hindi naman yon ang choice ko ayaw ko nga introduce ang cavite. but it was philippinearena who said na ilagay sa PAL thread para mapagusapan na location. i dont want to comment dito sa PAL thread but rockyg and philippinearena are prodding me to comment, so i did.

since you are from the area of cavite why dont you share with us the good points of cavite, if you are willing. if not, no problem. siyanga pala, peace bro!

I am Cavitenyo only by affinity, I din't grow up there but I spent a greater part somewhere further south from Tagaytay (hint *Ate Vi!). In the future, I might become a Cavite resident but not now. For now, I am happy gallivanting around the Alabang area when in Manila.

It also doesnt help that I am posting from a foreign location so I am not updated and can only listen to inputs.

Cuidado, ciao.

i'll do that....unti-unti mabubuo din yan.. by the way it is scaled sketch (except the disneyland). the runway and terminal, i cut it from Incheon and duplicate to become 4 runways (4km each)...

Now the thread's cast is almost complete. We still don't have cartman posting here yet, hopefully this thread will be more of intellectual discussion instead of personal attacks. He should bring interesting and passionate discussion to balance things out, whatever side he chooses to take.

Am glad theabe is here. This is his opportunity to listen to what the other side has to say. If you feel that we hijacked the Clark thread to push for the new PAL airport, then you won't see that discussed as much there anymore. For now, the hot item with your Clark airport is the airport express and how theabe can formulate the winning ideal price of P130 for a trip WITHOUT a subsidy.

As rockyg said, walang pikonan sport lang (in other words, be a good sport, win or lose).

As Mercato said, we are gracious if ever we are proven wrong, just like Mitt Romney. We know that we don't have the final say as to where the final location of the PAL airport will be. But we are enjoying the discussion because we have to keep the spirits high so that we don't lose hope and criticize unnecessarily if and when the new airport happens. And based on what we know, it is less than half a year's wait (or actually probably within 3-5 months) before Ramon Ang makes that big presentation to PNoy and the DOTC.

If I had my way, I would want that the new airport be built on a reclaimed island in the middle of Manila Bay with seaport facilities at the edge of the island. And with bridges to connect between Bataan as well as Cavite. Well, make that four bridges - the first one to connect with Sangley Point or further south (Cavite); the second to connect with Corregidor or Limay in Bataan (which connects directly to the Petron refinery there so they can just make a pipe that channels aviation fuel to the airport); the third bridge to connect with the area south of Hagonoy (which will be a mixed used seaport to ship fresh produce from the fishponds in the area) and the fourth bridge to connect with Malabon or Tondo (which is a major population center in Manila). The connecting bridges and airport island will allow people to travel to and fro any of these points (using rail or road) thus making progress happen in all four areas affected.

Anyone willing to visualize what I am envisioning?

Another reason why Bulakan, Bulacan will be within 20 minutes drive to the Makati CBD. The NLEX/SLEX connector road (not EDSA).

And before you can say anything, theabe about rappler, I have provided you at least two other sources.

http://www.rappler.com/business/1565...ects-mvp-group

http://www.mb.com.ph/articles/372947...l#.UJpvem91-So

Based on the NEDA timetable, they are behind by six months.
