432 PA is a luxury residential tower for really rich people and has ridiculously high floors! (also I think the building limits are based on floor area or something, so higher floors = higher building)
It's a real shame Oz 108 might get cut down a bit, I hope still ends up being a supertall, and preferably beat Q1 and it's cheating stick.

This is bulls**t. I remember when this flight path controversy was first written about, they said that the height limit is 373 metres, now they are telling us 312m? And why can't they move the flight path?I mean how stupid is it to fly above a city known for tall skyscrapers??? What a joke!

Sorry but this is ugly. Melbourne has enough tacky modern architecture.

Not digging this design ---

Maybe this is something that will grow on me but I am not digging this design at all.

They probably won't use this design as it seems at the moment

Still, way to low ceiling height. ...... and AFAIK Aussies aren't midgets

I agree. These numbers lead to gross floor heights of 2,6-2,7 meter which is low for a luxury tower.

Any word of a redesign yet? That upper 1/3 just kills the whole design.

What's with Aus and weird toppings btw, Eureka is a bit on the strange side as well.

It's been redesigned. Basically looks the same but is shorter and stumpier. The ugly star thing is still there. Most of us are hoping the whole thing is shelved until a better design is decided upon.

I can't decide if this is a joke or you're actually this ... well , whatever.

In any case , airports were usually located in perfectly logical places a long time before building height was any sort of an issue. For example , if it's 1940 and you're living in a world with pretty much one supertall in New York. The idea that every city (or any city for that matter) would get , need , or even want a supertall is completely foreign.

Saying that it's stupid that people would have some need to fly to a city with tall buildings is ...(I'll be as gentle as I can possibly be here) confusing. You can't just move a flight path because large flying machines don't turn on dimes.

Actually flight paths are changed all the time. Only the final approaches need to remain constant but actual flight paths can have numerous twists and turns to suit terrain and all sorts of issues.....
