These new developers are an embarrassment to slowpokes and low fruit pickers like Ellicott.
Exciting times for Buffalo. Fingers crossed this gets built.

It's going to be rejected. It's not in keeping with the neighborhood aesthetics, unless of course the build it with broken windows and peeling paint

Buffalo's tallest building, One Seneca Tower, has been purchased for a bargain $12 million by a Washington DC developer.
I have my fingers crossed on this one.
Nice to see this redeveloped into a mixed use, office, hotel, retail and residential complex.

2017 brings a clearer image of proposal for 201 Ellicott, an 18 story mixed use office, retail and residential complex.
meanwhile a number of new proposals have sprouted including a possible 20 story residential, hotel and entertainment complex by a joint venture of Ellicott dev./Seneca gaming near the cobblestone district.
A Utah developer is proposing a major residential project near hertel and main, also near lasalle station.

There's somewhat of a lull in activity in the city. Many major projects are wrapping up right now. Hopefully it picks back up soon.

Visited Buffalo recently with some friends from Ireland. Haven't been in years, wow, what a difference, loved it and will definitely come back. Lots of work ahead, but it already feels like a different place, the stench of stagnation has evaporated, lots of energy. Keep up the good work.
