it's a myth that Europe doesn't have good skylines. All the skylines shown in here are amazing. I'm not sure which is one is my favorite, as I always thought Frankfurt was 'the' skyline in Europe. However, after looking at all the other skylines now I have several favorites:

Paris: I recently stayed in an apart hotel in La Defense and was able to take a closer look at the buildings. Although they are not as new as they appear on the pictures, they still form an very nice complex an make up a very unique skyline.

Madrid: I haven't been, but 4 tall buildings don't make a skyline for me.

Milan: Up and coming skyline with lots of potential. It was about time for Italy to be part of the skyline game.

Moscow: very nice addition with the recently built core. Nice tall buildings and it looks like a nice area in the pictures, but I'm not entirely sold on this. It looks a little fake, like Dubai.

London: More organic skyscraper development with some amazing individual buildings. The Shard and the Gherkin among my favorite skyscrapers worldwide. However, as a whole, the skyline still has some work to do.

Venice: ……….. just kidding , but unique and charming city.

Warsow : improving a lot

Istambul: very nice

Venice I like your sense of humor

If you don't mind me asking, what do you think about Rotterdam skyline?

I know you didn't ask me but I would like to chime in. Honestly, I don't see much of a skyline in Rotterdam. The city seems like a disneyland for architects. They practice their wildest dreams there

I must say im surprises and pleased to see that relatively small and unkown (skyline wise) cities are getting some nice skylines like for example Warsaw Vienna Milan and Istanbul.
Other already arived skyscraper cities are also improving fast, like London Moscow Paris and smaller ones like Rotterdam and Frankfurt.

I would almost say that Europe is booming!!

Certainly not the best and most beautiful. But if this isn't a Skyline (for European standards) what is?

I don't consider a few "taller" buildings and a bunch of low-rises as a skyline. You may and I respect that

I didn't know much about Rotterdam before visiting this forum, but I see it has amazing views from the river and very unique looking buildings. I'm glad they allow architects to get creative, that's the way it should be everywhere. That bridge is definitely a plus. Very modern overall, but I think it needs a couple of taller buildings with spectacular designs to better define the skyline.

IMO, the best skyline in Europe is Moscow, then Paris, then London, then Frankfurt.
