I used to come here in this thread for some years and never had any problem with anyone, but this is over.
Such a bad mood here for some time and the arrival of some new heads.

Wow. As far as I understand
London has the best possibilities to build skyscrapers. The mayor is fan of skyscrapers. Soon the city of London will be full of 300m tall skyscrapers. And Canary Wharf which has less restrictions will be full of super talls.

I've heard the same thing about the mayor of London, it would be great if they release so many projects for building skyscrapers.

There are approx 200 buildings (20 floors and above) to be built in London in the coming years.

It's called Canary Wharf cluster which is just part of London skyline and it doesn't reflect the overall image.

Amazonian's argument sounds probably illogical but his point is valid, its like calling a shape of 2 or 3 buildings a skyline.

It's all about proportions, Frankfurt and Warsaw offers actually something (never been to Istanbul and got also no plans to visit Turkey so no rating here) like a complete skyline at the moment, of course only technically but this doesn't mean that i'm biased towards Frankfurt or Warsaw, Frankfurt is IMHO totally boring and has a flair of a shoe box and Warsaw is totally run down otherwise, so not really my cup of tea.

Moscow looks amazing but it lack what Istanbul got too many of, 150-200m buildings. We should trade, you give us 2 supertalls and we give you 10 150-200m buildings, then Moscow would be a solid #1 and Istanbul #2.

I have no idea what you are referring to. Perhaps you're the one not worth to have a conversation with.

You have been reported for using foul language in the public forum.

Anyhow, Let's get back on topic.

F.i. Milan ; apart from the new highrise cluster near the Pirelli tower, Milan doesn't really have a skyline.
I'm sorry, but what you said here is nonsense. what does it mean <<"APART" the new cluster, it doesn't have a skyline>>? if we don't consider the Frankfurt cluster, has it a skyline? if we don't consider Paris la Defense cluster, has it a skyline? ...if there's a cluster, THERE IS a skyline.

then, it's curious as you focused the attention only on Milan and not also on Liverpool...

anyway, Milan skyline is not finished here, but, as you all know, there's a new cluster U/C: the "CityLife" cluster ---> 207 m (+ antenna = 247 m) + 175 m + 165 m + 3 other highrise towers.

and this is the current skyline, without considering CityLife cluster...if it's not a skyline...i don't know what to say

You almost make it sound as if you know what you're talking about.

If anything is to be defined as 'best' - then surely one of the criteria must be for it to be 'complete'? as in unbroken - not fragmented - not all over the place. Same goes for Paris. PS What is the criteria for 'best' skyline? If a city has the highest, widest, most dense buildings - does that make it the best? Er...don't think so.
