Anyway, Baboulinet, why are you even bringing this up again? Did you not see Yellow Fever's post? We are discussing skylines and not countries or continents.

So, i'm sorry, but you don't do your job IMO...
Also, this post did not set well with me. It would appear that you are more a part of the problem than the solution. Talk about me not doing my job?

There is actually an Asian skyline also but we share it very rarely because it's in Asia. The new finance center is currently Prep on the Asian side also, all big banks will move there to their own skyscraper.

Asian skylines:
Umraniye
Atasehir (mainly)

You would be able to point it all out in this video using the second counts?

Only the European side is shown in the video. There isn't really any interesting things on the Anatolian side anyways. The Anatolian side was another city in Roman/Ottoman times. The city expanded and ate up the surrounding towns. This is why most Istanbul districts' names end with "köy" which means village in Turkish. Bakirkoy, Kadikoy, Yesilkoy etc. Those were all little towns back in the Ottoman/Roman times.

PS. I believe since Turkey is in the European sub forum, we are allowed to post pictures of any Turkish skylines regardless of where the city is. Please correct me if I am mistaken.

Nope, most of the pictures in that video are pre-2009 and almost all skyscrapers on the Asian side have emerged after that year

Izmir and Ankara for example.

So many projects are going on in Izmir right now. It will have an amazing skyline in 5 years! The city municipality created a "high-rise district" All towers will be built there. It will be really beautiful right by the blue sea and in front of the green mountains. Even a supertall is planned and will be u/c very soon!

Yes, it was decided that Istanbul is a European city, but that doesn't mean the whole of Turkey is. I'm a contributor to this thread and the one before for years. We often discussed, if cities like Yekaterinburg or Novosibirsk are considered European. The mods decided Yekaterinburg was (sitting right on the border) but no other city to the east.
Apart from that, do Ankara and Izmir really qualify for one of the "best European skylines"? That's the name of this thread. Not, "any skyline in Eurasia". There are thousands of nice skylines all over Europe, but we mostly talk about Frankfurt, Paris, London, Moscow, Warsaw, Rotterdam, Istanbul, Vienna, Milan, Madrid and maybe Benidorm in here. Even a city like Berlin (we had a persistent troll from Berlin in here) was not really considered a worthy contender in this thread. So please don't spam us with any Turkish city.
