Such a shame to have such ignorant people like you in Russia...
Please ban him for a while...

Maria Currie Skłodowska lived, studied, worked, died and was buried in France (together with her husband).

Nicolaus Copernicus was born and died in Royal Prussia. He was ethnic German, wrote at German and Latin (but never at Polish) and studied in Italy.

I don't see any skyline pictures the MODS should take action against anything that is irrelevant to skylines immediately as this thread will be ruined !
Here is the list of European Countries in Wikipedia I hope the Moderator bans who questioned this crystal clear fact and brought in into this forum this nonsense conversation that we already had wiki:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ries_in_Europe

Please, this discussion about the legitimacy of certain 'national identities' is on the level of kindergarten development. Since, if you observe some of the responses, it is just like seeing a bunch of children who've become emotionally distressed because a "father figure" (aka a fellow forum member) neglected to show them enough love. Hence the endresult: some excessively sensitive ego's around.

But probably, based on the level of discussion here, those responsible will not understand of what I've just said. At least try to understand that if you broaden your perspective on reality and in the first place on yourself, on who you really are - that may be you'll discover that, as a human being, you are much, much more than solely your 'national identity' (this part of your identity is based on a lie anyway, but that's another discussion). Thus in esssence there is absolutely no reason to feel hurt when someone 'attacks' your national identity; basically in most of these situations you've only witnessed someone who is in need of self acknowledgement (but is unable to express this need in a decent, positive way). So instead of anger feel sorry for that particular person. Though, in order to understand that, perhaps you've got to gather some knowledge of art and of course gather some wisdom...

Whatever, lets all forget this episode and focus again on our shared passion: skylines and skyscrapers - since that's apparently where we meet each other! And, if I'm honest, in terms of skyscrapers, both Warsaw and Moscow are wonderful cities - and that's that!

Maybe this thread should have a name "Discuss: Best European Skyline II +"...
where "+" means Asiatic part of Russia? Maybe then one troll from NY would shut up...
Russia is culturally European in huge part so there is no big deal here... Of course those far east Russian cities are a little bit Asiatic but it would show us where this architectural border actually starts...
It would be also interesting to see here full picture of EU candidate... I wonder how Ankara looks like today...

I just wonder what makes the far east of russia more asiatic than the territory west of urals? in all russia is same culture, same people, same architecture and same religion... or you think that the eastern part of russia is full of chinese or what? I sometimes read polish newspapers and they usually call russia mongolia and russians mongols, like they wanted to humiliate russians, I just have no idea whats wrong with the mongols to use their name to humiliate any1... it's shows who poles really are ... ignorant and arrogant hmm ... people!
