how we suppose to do? all render on every page? even before this, all competition use the same formatrender on first page.

i mean, why do people need to repost their good renders here, after the poll has already started? it's not fair to judge a building just by a ~300x600 pixel preview render...

i feel really sorry for all the good buildings that don't get many votes because their small preview render kinda sucks

most of render already post in 3D competition- Highrise Office Tower ‎ i assume most of voter already see it on that thread,while a render on this thread is for people who just visit this thread..and i believe u also already see the render from previous thread,rite?

nvm,a really good building doesnt need thousand images to convince people to vote..sometime 1 image can beat a contestant that have thousand rendering ..furthermore everyone can see the latest result show the big margin between most of the competitors,so i dont think it was a problem otherwise if the margin is quite small and can effect the result,it will be a problem ..it was a skyscraper design competition,not best rendering competition,so number of rendering is not a big thing.it is just to support the contestant..

this goes with the problem that a single render can't show all the work that was put into a model. one competetor even furnitured his building, and you can't see anything of it.
and then there's this beautifully cladded tower, that just looks weird from distance. i bet most voters didn't even know about that.

also, there is a model around here ( i won't name it!) that got a lot of votes because the render hides the fact that it was just a quick and undeveloped design without any attention to detail. it's a shame to see the other projects that were made with a lot more effort behind it.


as i said before, this poll is a joke and dishonors all the effort that was put into these designs.

i don't want to arguing anymore,yeah i know this competition is not perfect,there are some space for improvement and i take note each of it..but i still think a building need to be seen and judge as a whole idea..not only detailing.i know you're master in detailing and i've seen lot of your awesome work,it was very detail and amazing..but i dont want people to voted only base on effort and detail..sometimes only with idea and just a little effort can make the building look good and can overshadow the weakness of detailing..let people decide based on their preference..ive been in some competition whereby some contestant with really good idea and conceptual lose with an ugly building which are complexs,full of detail but overdone...so i give every contestant a same stage to represent their design and other than that it depend to contestant effort to promote,publish and show their other skills(some with better rendering,some with detailing and some with idea and conceptual)which are use to support their main idea.

i tot that our renderings and details will be posted at the first post instead of a poster of A rendering, chosen by you for each contestant. But nevermind, its not a big deal and you have done a nice work for us to have fun.

Without this competition, I will never have done a serious rendering and designing work to enhance my portfolio. thank you
