The article says the whole project will complete by June 2016? Hell, let me have what they are smoking!

June 2016? Definitely not. Maybe end of 2017 or early 2018.

I think that many developers display posters showing fake (always taller) heights, so we have no reason to think it's 470m. I can name tens of examples: Shenyang Shimao project, Fuzhou Shimao project, Chongqing Poly, Zhengzhou Greenland...

I hope if anything turns out to be fake it's the design. Looks like Dubai.

i stay with my opinion of loving the design. it certainly is a design that stands out and with the hopefully tall height it would be an amazing landmark tower with that design i think. the crown that looks like a flower looks perfectly fitting to the city i think.

Only a 500m+ would put CQ back on the China's map of the first tier supertall cities.

true, but i doubt it will in anytime soon, after so much on hold crap, i have lost interest in believing it. not to mention currently there is no plan to be over 470m cos the airport now set the altitude limit to be 700m, and most chongqing plots‘ altitude is around 230m,so accept it now and save yourself from hope and dreams.

about this project, he final height would be 470m, the reason I've just mentioned before, 530m was the old plan before airport T3 on the table, so...
and the design is purely crap, it don't even get through the gov, now its only trying to make a fuss before Lippo step in , so even if starts digging ,there will be a new and better design.
