A 1929 design for a colorful 40-story skyscraper along New Yorks West Street by Thompson & Churchill. Sadly I have not been able to find this drawing in any larger sizes.

Another alternative design for Galleria Colonna in Rome. I really wish this one had been built. It's beautiful and it would have matched the syle of the one in Milan and the one in Naples.

So sad it wasn't built this way. Could have been one of the best (if not the best) art nouveau buildings in St.Petersburg.
A bit later the same architects did build the market but in a more fashionable for that time neo-classic style and in quite a cheap way. I have no idea what's happened but it definitely looks like the worst of Lalewicz's buildings.

Some drawings of Armando Brasinis design for Sacro Cuore di Maria in Rome. It was intended to be 100 meters high. Construction was started in 1923 but only the base was completed in accordance to Brasinis original design. A shame if you ask me.

Original design:

A revisied design due to poor foundation at the site:

In my view the two previous projects were a real plus for Rome , even if the project big place in the pantheon is not really in the spirit small lane , small square in the center of Rome.

I don't really care much for the envisioned re-development around Pantheon. I don't feel the design of the building would suit a large open square. I also think it would have been a shame to demolish so many historic buildings.

I quite like Brasinis proposal for Piazza Novana though.
