Is that 1940 Perlsee plan for the real government or Stalin?

Constant-Dťsirť Despradelle
Beacon of Progress / Chicago / 1893
"The Beacon was a towering monument intended for the site in Chicago, Illinois of the Columbian Exposition of 1893. Despradelle designed the Beacon to represent the founding of America, and so it consisted of thirteen obelisks which he said represented the original thirteen colonies. The group of obelisks merged to form a single spire soaring 1,500 feet (approximately 457 metres) above Chicago." -wiki

comparative with The Shard (London)

How come a provincial Polish city like Suwalki would need a Greek catholic church?

Gran Via B, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

One of the 3 planned avenues in the Eixample project by Ildefons Cerdŗ that would go through the old city. This urban plan went into deeper details with the Pla de reforma interior, by ņngel Baixeras, in 1878.

In the end, only one of the three was totally executed, Via Laietana. In this case, just a part of it was done, nowadays called Avinguda de les Drassanes and Rambla del Raval.

Bartolomeo Rastrelli - Summer Palace in the Third Summer Garden in St. Petersburg, facade design to the side of the river Moika. The palace does not exist. Paul I built in this place Saint Michael's Castle, a new seat tsarist, which has lost its meaning after his death.

Its not "neo-Romanesque" but more of a neo-renaissance with heavy use of gothic elements.
