County courthouses

We always talk about and compare city halls and state capitols, but what about the buildings that serve the level of government in between? What is your county courthouse like? What was it inspired by? Which counties have great courthouses, and which have bad ones? (Some have none at all, being independent cities.) Does your county share its courthouse with the city and also double as city hall? What are the courthouses like in the state capitals, when overshadowed by capitol buildings?

My city is not in a county so here is the courthouse of Gloucester County VA where I was raised. The old one burned down. This one was built in 1766.

Fulton County Courthouse, Atlanta Ga...built in 1911. Atlanta has a separate city hall...while the courthouse is beautiful in my opinion, it is definitely overshadowed by the state capitol.

Dade County Courthouse
Completed in 1928, the building originally included Miami's City Hall and jail but has housed the courthouse the entire time. When completed it was touted as the tallest building south of Baltimore and one of the tallest municipal buildings in the United States.
