All right... finally found the aircraft I've been seeking for a long time. Dubbed Jetihad, it is a feature by Etihad Airways where it uses leased Jet Airways aircraft (based in India) to operate long-haul flights. What's better: this aircraft has a UAE registration, which no doubt makes it "operated" on a wet lease by Etihad.

On this flight, this aircraft is about to depart for a nonstop flight from San Francisco to Abu Dhabi.

Jet Airways (operated on behalf of Etihad Airways) B777-300ER (reg. A6-JAB)

You know I don't really like the color of the seats. I think had it have lighter color, it would be great.
But I like the color of the seats on Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 economic class.

I think maybe only half of their existing fleet of Boeing 777s will be upgraded, unless they re-instate B772 flights to their current destinations. Starting 01SEP15, they only have 3-daily flights utilising the Boeing 777s.

From airlineroute:

Malaysia Airlines this week gradually updated planned winter 2015/16 season schedule, starting 25OCT15. The updated W15 schedule is identical to planned operation that will take place from 01SEP15.

Updated schedule, sees Boeing 777-200ER operation being downsized to following routes, starting 01SEP15, including flights on/after 25OCT15.

Kuala Lumpur – Amsterdam 1 daily
Kuala Lumpur – Guangzhou 1 daily
Kuala Lumpur – Paris CDG 1 daily

Planned operational routes remain subject to change based on aircraft availability and market demand.

So Cathay's last 777 LN 1333 is looking like it will not be a retro livery as first thought. Saw it in the factory and the rudder is painted in their normal livery.

I've been having a hard time finding this particular aircraft... the last time it visited San Francisco was in February on its daytime flight. I really want to see this soon.

As I indicated above, the last Cathay 777 will not be in a retro livery as everyone first thought. I confirmed this with a contact with first hand knowledge inside Cathay. They never planned on a retro livery.

The last? Oh dear would this mean the end of Boeing 777-300ER is looming? Just like when they stop producing Boeing 747-400 in early 2000s?

I think it would have been great if the airplane was painted in retro livery

The last 777-300ER on their order. The 77-300ER still has enough orders for the next 2 years.
