Boeing will need an even bigger autoclave to make the wings, if they will use the same method as for the 787 wings.

The 1st one that was moved to the factory last year was already significantly bigger this 2nd one.

The 1st one, on the move in August 2015.

ps.
The big difference of course between the 787 and the 777X wings is that Boeing will be manufacturing the 777X wings in house. They haven't outsourced it to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Japan, like the 787 wings.

They have 3 large Autoclaves at the Everett site. The other 2 where built in another location on Boeing grounds and moved inside before they sealed the building. They are supposed to be the worlds largest autoclaves.

China Airlines receives co-branded 777 aircraft from Boeing

Latest News:Taiwanese carrier China Airlines has taken delivery of a co-branded Boeing 777-300ER (extended range) aircraft, which features liveries of both the airline and the plane manufacturer.

Claimed to be the world's first co-branded 777 jet, the new twin-engine 777-300ER is equipped with GE90-115B commercial jet engine. With a standard three class configuration, the aircraft can fly a maximum range of 14,490km.

The latest delivery has made China Airlines to have a fleet of ten 777-300ER aircraft and enabled the carrier to continue to boost its long-haul routes to the North American and European markets. With a 358 seating capacity, China Airlines' 777-300ER jets feature new 'family couch' seats in economy class.

In 2004, the carrier became the first airline in the world to use Boeing's co-branded livery on its new 747-400 aircraft, which was claimed to be the first co-branded twin-aisle airplane worldwide.

China Airlines corporate planning vice-president Steve Chang said: "We are delighted to celebrate 100 years of Boeing by working together with Boeing to accomplish the first co-branded livery 777-300ER.

"This is our tenth 777 from Boeing and since our first 777 entered into service in 2014, we have been exceedingly satisfied with its outstanding performance which was further affirmed by our happy passengers." The airline currently has a fleet of around 90 airplanes and serves more than 13 million passengers annually to over 118 destinations worldwide.

Boeing recently delivered a new 777-300ER to TAAG Angola Airlines, the national airline of Angola.

Boeing Reveals Just How Far 777 Output Is Poised to Fall:
Deliveries of Boeing's highly profitable 777 jet will fall significantly over the next few years.

Quote:
In late 2013, Boeing formally launched the 777X -- the next-generation version of its popular 777 widebody jet. The 777X, which features updated engines and a new wing to boost range, payload, and fuel efficiency compared to the 777, is scheduled to enter service in early 2020.

Earlier this year, Boeing finally acknowledged that it will need to cut 777 output. At the company's analyst day last week, Boeing executives provided more details on just how low 777 deliveries will go in the next few years.

Despite the fact that it has this 777 replacement in the works, Boeing insisted throughout most of 2014 and 2015 that it would be able to continue producing the original 777 at a record 8.3-per-month pace through the end of the decade.

Do you prefer the 777 or the 787? To me this Boeing will always be the most charming of them all despite the fanboys 787 has gathered over the world.

Wasn't it going to be painted in the revised All Black scheme?
