According to an inside source, TAROM is looking to lease either three 777-200ER ex Singapore Airlines (the company got an offer of USD 300k/month/airplane), either three 787-8 Dreamliners LAN (30 seats in Business Class, 217 Economy) - an offer of USD 1000k/month/airplane. The offers requested by TAROM for 3 widebodies should be sent until 31st August.

I know that but I meant that B777X program update how much far it is from the First B777X from going into FAL not orders cause we didn't heard any update from B777X in last few months

I'd say it will go into FAL in Q2 2018. First flight is officially scheduled for Q1 2019 and first delivery for Q1 2020.

The 1st 777x Wing Spar was quietly started last week. This is for the first static wing they will use in the entirely new assembly process.

Electroimpact is onsite testing the new equipment and we should see a completed wing by Q4/Q1. They started assembly on the 777x static rigging in the 45-12 building last month.

The first 4 777-9's will be Line Number's:

1581
1587

Now that United has converted its 35 plane A350XWB-1000 order to 45 A350XWB-900's (which will replace the starting to age 777-200 and 777-200ER fleet), I wonder will United seriously consider buying more 777-300ER's beyond the 18 planes delivered and on order? I wouldn't be surprised if United orders another 6-8 planes, which will become the backbone of their intercontinental fleet.

Monday’s decision by WTO appeal judges overturns a ruling which had banned some Washington-state support for plants including a $1 billion factory designed to build the world’s largest carbon-composite wings for Boeing’s 777X jet.

A WTO panel ruled last year that a reduction in the state’s business and occupation tax in return for a decision to place 777X production in the state had deliberately shut out imports.

But its appeals body found the tax breaks had not explicitly targeted trade flows, removing them from the WTO’s most severe category of banned aid known as “prohibited” subsidies.

The decision neutralizes a potential trump card, which the EU played in 2014 to shake up the world’s biggest trade dispute.

They are slowing production down to 5 frames a month soon based on what I was told last week. I would suspect we won't see it in final assembly until Mid-December for roll out in January as planned.

They don't have enough 773 orders to fill the gap before the 777X is in full production mode. They will be operating a dual line while the 1st 30 777X's are built. Then they will shift to a mixed line until the 773 is phased out.

They are building the static test wings now.
