Over a period of 10 to 15 years just like how the existing 777's were bought.

Payment - via leases and debt / bond financing.

Is this the 1st B77W delivery from Boeing in full color scheme?

Indeed but maybe Garuda's colours look bit plain in B77W because of this airplane is longer than A330 Garuda & thiner than B747 Garuda

Garuda wont be the largest Boeing 777 operator, but at least it allowed Garuda to expand its operation into global scale.

According to the Wall Street Journal Boeing has starting selling the 777X, the official launch should come at the end of this year.

Boeing Board Approves New 777 Sales

May 1, 2013, 8:40 p.m. ET

Boeing's board of directors gave approval to its commercial airplanes unit to start selling a new version of its long-range 777 jetliner, according to a person familiar with the decision.

The decision came at a board meeting in Chicago that coincided with Boeing's annual shareholder meeting on Monday, the person said. The milestone allows Boeing to begin formally negotiating deals with airlines for the new jet, dubbed the 777X, which Boeing hopes will extend the life of one of its best-selling twin-aisle jetliners.

That's wonderful news indeed. Question: which lucky airline/s will be the launch customer/s of the new 777X? I highly suspect Emirates might be one of them, if not Qatar Airways or Turkish Airlines... it's hard to make a guess who'll be the launch customer for this aircraft since the 77W is still very strong.

I'd say Emirates will almost certainly be the launch customer.

EK are known to place orders before they are announced so expect the massive EK order to be during the DAS for maximum marketing reasons. With a potential 275 777X order this would easily break the record in dollar value which could last for decades. The deal could be worth any where from 50 to 100 billion USD.
