Maybe an 757X? With an 757-8X, 757-8LX and 757-9X (300+ pax widebody killer)? Like 777-8X and 777-9X? Ok, maybe.

Maybe. Nor appears to have the colors of the China Southern, neither is from Ethiopian Airlines.

Well, an enhanced 757 with around 4500 nm range and RR (Trent 500 updated) would surely attract us operators ... Ok, sorry for posting in wrong thread

We know for a fact it is not Ethiopian Airlines. Its not Delta, American, British Airways. After looking at Boeing's website and under the 777 customer tab I can say it is definitely Aeroflot's 777. There is a separation of red and white with blue in the middle and that could only mean Aeroflot with that livery currently on their 777s. I don't know why it has so little paint on the tail already. I think China Southern is still taking delivery of 777Fs and the 777-300ERs will be moved out of the factory in the following weeks.

So... The 777-300ER is for SU (Aeroflot). Maybe the registry would be VP-B?? (Aeroflot registers the Airbuses and Boeings in Bermuda and other nearby zones due to protectionism to russian aircraft).

Add range and pax: An 757-8X could do 7000 nmi carrying the current 757-300 pax level (or 5200 nmi with more cargo) and a 757-9X can do 5100 nmi carrying 300 passengers: and in the end they would have a larger CFRP wing (about 54 m wingspan (Code E)) - The 757X would be and double stretch of the current 757s: 52 m for 757-8X and 61 m for 757-9X. A Rolls-Royce Trent 1500X which was destinated for A340-600E of Airbus, would be added to 757X, with improvements. But this is my proposal.

Another thing, Maybe the 777 number of the produced A/C arrives to the number 1200 in the next year, making a question: Would be an 777-300ER or an 777F? For my accounts the lucky number (1200) will be an 777F for FedEx.

Just a question: with China Southern about to get the B777-300ER, will it retire its current B777-200ERs in the fleet, or will it be used to bolster more flights out of its hubs in Guangzhou, Beijing, and other Chinese airports? Also, will that aircraft be used mostly for long-haul flights, or will it be used mostly for domestic and regional flights that require large capacity aircraft? I mean, if the B77W will be operated in tandem with the A380 and the B772, that would be quite a lot of long-haul aircraft for the fledgling Chinese carrier... I hope it will operate Guangzhou-San Francisco soon to compete with CX's twice-daily Hong Kong-San Francisco service using the B772 or the new B77W. And by the way, does anyone know of its seat configuration too?
