I am sure Baku will prepare well and will be a great host for those games, including 15 out of 28 olympic and two non-olympic kinds of sports.Plus this event will definitely accelerate the process of improvement of infrastructure and construction of sport venues in Baku  Now we have 2,5 years to go

So which sports will be included in these games? The idea is nice but without athletics and swimming it might turn out to be a competition of B-sports.

The european games could replace the european championships in many sports, like athletics, swimming, cycling etc.

Doesn't seem strange to me, it's just holding at the same time and in the same place the European championships of several sports, which happen anyway. The size of the overall event will raise the profile of the individual events IMO.
