Wow! this is a great thread with lots of gorgeous pictures!
I love it when you show ugliness and grit in contrast with beauty and cleanliness.
I keep following this thread!

The Parliament of Serbia (Dom Narodne Skupštine)

The Old Palace (Stari dvor) houses the City Assembly. It was the royal residence of the Obrenović dynasty, built when Serbia became a Kingdom in 1882. After heavy damage due to air raids during WWII and the following restoration, the building was radically altered and lost most of it's former glory

The Belgrade Fortress, situated at the junction of the Sava river and the Danube

Bilingual Serbian and Hungarian inscription commemorating the 1456 battle against the Ottomans, when John Hunyadi (Hunyadi János, Governor of the Kingdom of Hungary and Voivode of Transylvania) and his troops stopped the oncoming massive Turkish army, on their way towards Hungary after conquering Constantinopole three years earlier. If Belgrade fell (then Nándorfehérvár), it would have been a catastrophe for Central Europe. The victory echoed throughout christian Europe, Pope Callixtus III ordered the bells of every European church to be rung every day at noon, as a call for believers to pray for the defenders of the city. This practice exists to this day

Statue of the Victor (Pobednik), erected in 1928, to commemorate the Kingdom of Serbia's war victories over the Ottoman Empire in the First Balkan War and Austria-Hungary during World War I. It has become a symbol of the city

Great pictures, but can you explain why some your pictures seem to be from middle of summer and some from autumn/winter?
