Moving on...got on a bus in Belgrade, arrived in Niš a couple of hours later.
This is Serbia's third largest city, with 190.000 inhabitants. It's one of the oldest cities in the Balkans and Europe, it has great historical importance being the birthplace of Constantine the Great (the city then called Naissus), the first Christian Emperor and the founder of Constantinople.

Crveni Krst concentration camp (Red Cross concentration camp), the first Nazi concentration camp in the former Yugoslavia, constructed in 1941. Around 30,000 persons went through this camp, and an estimated 12,000 of them were taken to and shot in Bubanj, another camp site. Others were transferred to Sajmište concentration camp on the outskirts of Belgrade.

Wow! I love this thread. You have an eye for images with original angles. I think a selection of 'best of' (which are many of your pictures!) should make a perfect travel thread. I keep following this one. It's worth a visit, it's like we are there ourselves.

Nice pictures but I don't think it is a good idea to include so many in one post. Personally, I don't have the patience to scroll through such a long post, so I quickly flash through maybe seeing only 5 to 10 pictures. I find threads with one picture per post far more interesting, and it is easier to look at every picture. And I'm sure a lot more people are like this. So it is a waste of your time to post so many pictures if people are just going to skip right over them. I'm sure some people are more patient than me, but I guarantee you that most are not. Just my two cents.

I agree with you, but one pic per post is too little in my opinion. If you have a lot of pictures to share, it takes too long to post them all. And it's a bit annoying to other photographers. I prefer 10 pictures per post in a bit lower resolution. Quality of the pictures is a bit lower, but the upload is faster.
Anyway, it's better to make a strickter selection, and cancel the doubles and the blurry ones. But that again is a personal opinion.

It's a pity if people skip the many beautiful pictures in a thread like this.

I agree with both of you.I know i'm posting a bit too many photos at once, but at the same time there are many left and that's why i'm rushing it a bit, cause it would take way too long.
