Yay! Celebrating the creation of the new subforum!
This is going to be my favorite part of the forum, as in recent years my interests shifted from urbanism to science.
![]() Please move my Space Exploration and Electric Car Revolution threads here from the skybar.

I'll move some relevant threads from the skybar this evening to start this off.
Who's the mod here btw?

Very good idea for a sub-forum.

I might not have enough time to post, but rest assured, I'll lurk in the shadows, just like I do on the Teslatron.

The link to the subforum is in my signature now, so it will be noticed by quite a few people now, considering my footprint here

It's good it's been created as separate subforum, might become a very interesting part of Skyscrapercity.
By the way, is the discussion on future extraterrestrial mining and search for resources worth setting up a new thread or we still are to discuss it in "space exploration" thread? |

Extraterrestrial mining is going to be a separate thread.

Now that we have an entire subforum dedicated to these fascinating subjects, we will not contain all space-related discussions in a single thread. The precedent has been established with Extraterrestrial mining and more separate threads will follow. This will boost exposure of these subjects and consequently the popularity of the subforum.

Good point. In general compilation threads suck because search engines and humans alike can't index/find anything in it. Always best to create a separate thread for separate topics / buildings / etc.
