Yeah an exotic all stops pulled kind of project with over the top engineering is about the last I'd worry about. Plenty of buildings in the area that with a direct cat 5, actual wind pressures of over 160 mph I believe out of about 300 high rises there are some that would not withstand that. Angles, sheer, wind tunnels all complicate things, but that is way above the minimum required in other tall building cities such as NYC, where I believe it's not much over 100 mph, if at all.

One Thousand Museum Plows Ahead With Plaza Construction, Releases New Renderings

Quote:
Downtown Miami's sexiest new development in One Thousand Museum by Zaha Hadid Architects is moving along, coming to an agreement with Plaza Construction during the holiday break while its future exoskeleton piece from Dubai has shipped for the northeast exterior facade, which is scheduled to be installed early next year. One Thousand Museum will be the first building in the nation to utilize a glass-fiber reinforced concrete outer shell as the permanent framework for its exoskeleton. The development that looks like something Ironman would call home is expected to be completed in 2018. For now, gloss over some recent renderings as this magnificent monstrosity hopefully moves forward with smooth sailing.

Photos Show Construction Progress at Hadid's One Thousand Museum

Quote:
A mockup of the facade is now being assembled on site and will be visible in the next few weeks, giving passersby a glimpse into the the exciting future of the site.

Mid-December construction photos by Daniel Azoulay depict the tower about five floors above the ground. Construction workers can be seen pouring concrete amidst a huge web of steel rebar. Now that the holiday break is over, construction is kicking into high gear with completion expected in the fall of 2018.
