Another glorious carved door.

If lived there I would stop by that door every day and then go into the church and marvel at the beauty. I would never get tired of it.

The Manueline period was responsible for the creation of these spectacular doors that can be found in churches throughout the country.

They are painted tiles, very traditional in portuguese architecture.

You can call them "azulejos" those are amazing, didn't know about that church interior
