Clegg wins £4m Birmingham contract

Last updated: 17th Apr 2013 at 08:14am

Nottingham-based Clegg Construction has won a £4m contract to build a six-storey car park at the University of Birmingham.

The multi-storey car park will cover more than 100,000 sq ft and provide almost 500 parking spaces at the university's Edgbaston campus.

Simon Blackburn, managing director at Clegg Construction, said: "The new car park has been designed so that it is in keeping with Clegg Construction’s policy of providing high quality, innovative buildings.

"We're looking forward to starting work on the new car park and know it will make a huge improvement to the campus."
