Moscow - beautiful views from Hotel Ukraina
Let me present a set of pics with beautiful views from Hotel Ukraina I took during my trip to Moscow in September this year.
This is the hotel. It's my favorite Stalin highrise in Moscow.  You can see where my room was located  Up there I felt like in paradise   My room  The view from it rocks

Two maps for better orientation. I marked the most important objects that you will see in this thread:
  --- Time for the views. Not many comments from my side in this thread. The pictures speak for themselves Views from my hotel room, just after arrival: White House and the Stalin-gothic residential at Kudrinskaya Square  New Arbat (street) with the characteristic highrises, built in the 60's  Mayor Office, former SEV (Comecon) building. Comecon was the socialist trading bloc...  A little bit later   Stalin-gothic residential highrise at Kotelnicheskaya and the new-built Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.  Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and the Stalin-gothic Ministry of Foreign Affairs  White House again  Mayor Office. In the background two Stalin-gothic highrises: the Leningradskaya Hotel and the Transport Construction Ministry.  Ostankino TV-tower  New Arbat at late night  --- Two pics taken from the corridor (through dirty windows): Kiev train station. In the background Luzhniki Bridge and Luzhniki Stadium.  The Triumph Palace  --- Sunrise next day seen from my hotel room:  Morning views from my room: Mayor Office. In the background two Stalin-gothic highrises: the Leningradskaya Hotel and the Transport Construction Ministry.     --- After breakfast I went up this stairs to the outlook terrace at the 31th floor (my room was on the 28th):  Pics in clock-wise order (from south-east to north-east): Moscow River and the Stalin-gothic Ministry of Foreign Affairs  Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs  Moscow University  Sparrow Hills highrises  Intersection of the green Ukraine Avenue and Kutuzovsky Prospekt. The University and the Sparrow Hills highrises in the background.  Closer look at Kutuzovsky Prospekt  Ukrainian Avenue next to the Hotel  Two towers at IBC (International Business Centre), the place where Moscows tallest skyscrapers are currently being built. The tower on the left side is "Tower 2000". The one on the right side is the Block A (the lowest one) of the "Naberezhnaya Tower". In the background the Edelweiss residential can be seen.  IBC construction ground  World Trade Center by the Moscow River.  New buildings at Shchukino district. Scarlet Sails etc.  Moscow River and the Triumph Palace   View to the north-east  Ostankino TV-tower appears at distance   --- Time for some night views: Stalin-gothic residential highrise at Kotelnicheskaya and the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour  Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs  The Moscow University   The 2 towers at IBC  --- Sunrise views on the next day from the hotel corridor: Kiev Train Station  Kutuzovsky Prospekt. The University and the Sparrow Hills highrises.  The University at the Sparrow Hills (formerly Lenin Hills)  Sparrow Hills highrises  Kutuzovsky Prospekt. Sparrow Hills highrises and the 2 towers at IBC  Two towers at IBC  Triumph Palace  --- And finally a sunrise seen from my room :      I hope that you enjoyed Moscow from Hotel Ukraina
