not yet prep, but trucks there are a good sign indeed. this was one of the 500m buildings i was rather sceptical about to rise, but at least we get some activity, which means maybe this is going to happen. the design is amazing after all, so let's hope for the best.

It seems tome that all the smaller cities are playing a game and competing for attention, but I could be totally wrong,

Chinese people must love these type of developments and see them as prestigious.
china has kind of gone mad. go to any random city and you will see huge road grids without buildings there. sometimes the empty road grid is bigger than the existing city. literaly every city thinks they will grow 300% in the next 10 years and im not talking about 1st, 2nd or 3rd tier cities.

The urbanization rate is now 52.5% from a population of around 1.384 billion. The population should top out at 1.5 billion so that means there's plenty of urban growth left. I'm not surprised by what steps they are taking what would concern me if they were taking no steps at all.

Not really too attractive but I like the in an out curvature.

Reminds me of Taipei 101 in a way. Also in the sense that it will be a very lonely supertall

This awesome project is across the street: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1718641

Hefei is a little late to the party but they have awesome plans for this area.

Not the final design hopefully. Evergrande has used that design as a concept layout for countless projects.

The design is great though and many towers of the same style but different height next to baoneng plot, who seem to plan a similar style would be amazing, well if both things actually get build. Evergrande has not the best reputation as of now.

I love Evergrande, you never know what they're going to propose next. If you don't intend on ever bulding your proposals you can get very ambitious with them.

Yes. Don't get your hopes up yet though. Many evergrande projects got to the preparing site state, yet they still never rose in the end.

Update on the Evergrande development. Not sure if it is the main plot though....

I guess we need to change the height too. According to Gaoloumi 518m and a secondary tower 318m
