I had some awesome views in my old flat. I will try to find some pics.

The beauty of Hong Kong is that everybody can have a million dollar view. I think I have been up for sunrise a few dozen times to the Peak. Sunrise in HK is so much better than the sunset. 1) The air is cleaner and 2) It actually rises behind the city.

Having a landmark as part of your view really is a great bonus because it make you feel like you're buying into the status. That's also the motive behind some of the supertall developments. Emaar didn't make a lot of money on the Burj Khalifa but is able to sell the buildings in the vicinity as "Burj View". The premium is not in the supertall, it is in the surroundings. As a developer you want to make sure you control these as well.

Bad memories I have of Schowburgplein with snow and ice. I got hurt quite a bit there two winters ago exiting the Pizza Hut. The plaza is very nice and modern-looking though.
