The Nanjing Greenland Center aka Zifeng Center has been mentioned before, but I think it's gorgeous.

Now that I look closer at it, I think it looks great. I always forget about this one, no wonder it's underrated.

I do think its underrated because its probably the least mentioned building in the top 10. Its no masterpiece though.

Wow, you are sad! ESB is not even my favourite building, I was just defending it against your stupid criticism. For your info I think the PTT is better than Zifeng.

Definitely, that one's a masterpiece! One of the best examples of postmodernism.

It is a great tower, but there are many similar designs around.

I think the PetroVietnam Tower in Saigon might be underrated, I love modernism.

The front of the building is truly nice and well-executed. The back, however, is kind of polluted and a little cluttered. It's a nice building, though.

Mine too. I'll probably go to Chicago summer of 2014 just for it, Sears, and John-Boy.

Honestly I think Woolworth Building is quite underrated. I don't understand how this perfect building isn't more widely known and acknowleged?

The craftmanship of this building, along with its height and overall form makes it actually surreal. Like all Gothic architecture, it's more art than building.

No buildings in NYC, imo, have come close to matching the Woolworth's beauty, apart from the old WTC and Trump World Tower, but only because they appear so confident. In terms of surface-detailed buildings, Woolworth is the most beautiful skyscraper in history for me. Only its ancestors, the Gothic cathedrals, are more beautiful, but that's expected.

I can understand why lots of people like it. It is a kind of craftmanship which can be found in the facade of Woolworth. But it is also a matter of taste. I just don't like gothic architecture, that goes up for old European churches but also for old American skyscrapers. There are too many objects in these facades without a clear structural purpose, it is just clutter. So i prefer more serene types of architecture.
