We simply don't know right now how many orders it got right now until Boeing start to split up the MAX orders on their order page. Especially with all the unidentified orders on the book.

I agree. I think it's likely that WN has quietly placed a large 737 MAX 7 order beyond the original 30 planes ordered, but it won't be announced until near the time of the Paris Air Show. The 737 MAX 7's will replace the last of the 737-300's and the older 737-700's now in WN's fleet.

All I said was we need some new orders BY the Paris Air Show .......or else!!!!

There are only 3 orders for the 737 Max 7 and all three are for the small version which was revamped last summer to a much bigger 737 Max 7 . They have not exactly been confirmed. Nobody ordered the revamped version since the revamp ....the 737 Max 150 as I prefer to call it.

The third of those 3 orders was from an airline that does not exactly exist yet...it is supposed to any day now.

Combined orders are 60 I worked out. 60 in 4 years.

I'd expect 100 orders by Paris if it to have any chance. Otherwise it is nothing but an expensive distraction....as indeed is the A319neo. Boeing need to figure out how to stretch and raise ( and perhaps rewing) the 737-10 to replace the 757 which is getting on a bit now.

Again, there have been no confirmed orders, we simply don't know the actual number right now. Just like we don't know the actual number of the 737 MAX 9 orders.

Because the -7 has become a simple shrink of the -8 it's not likely that it will be axed, especially since it will be heavily pushed as a BBJ, with a better range as the main selling point.

Edit: for clarity, the other fully painted one is still parked up round the back at the lake side, still without any reg markings.

I've posted the new bunch of 737s on my blog if anyone's interested. They're on the 'production table' tab.
