If I had my own house then I would want a decent garden with it. But if it was a high-rise apartment then just a balcony.

With a house, I do want to have some green, some real grass, but I don't want to mow the lawn. A large park nearby is nice, perfect if it is right across the road.

My ideal morning is, when I wake up, I look out the window or out my balcony, and I see a beautiful green lawn.

the rooftop has also has a garden with all sorts of potted herbs (oregano, mint, rosemary, etc.) which all tenants can use for cooking

Rooftop gardens or terraces can be pretty cool. Do you also have a roof terrace?

Good for your own private barbecue, but too much work here in North Texas due to the heat and drought IMO.

even a little patio with some flowers would add a nice beautiful touch to your living place regardless if they are houses or condos. I have both balcony and patio but I plant flowers on my little front yard only.

In downtown Vancouver, a condo with a roof top garden would cost over 10 millions or more.

What's a few extra millions when you can grow your own fresh Lavender and Thyme?

10 millions is just for the cost of the roof top penthouse and you have to pay extra for the garden or do it yourself to save a few bucks.
