Thank you too for sharing great pics! If I were a Paulista myself, I would be riding the Metro often, but I might have a hard time speaking in Portuguese myself. However, that said, the buildings do speak for themselves. I'd love to visit that great city myself -- I've even placed it on my must-visit cities!

Inside the Municipal Market

It's the famous codsifsh pastel from the Municipal Market. It's reaaaally big and I can say it's more than delicious. The codfish pastel with orange juice is about 5 american dolars.

Your latest photo collection made me in awe: how close is that forested narrow road from the city proper of So Paulo? It makes me feel like, despite the urban jungle in the middle of the city, Paulistas still manage to have such great greenery and open spaces. I find that really serene in an already fascinating city.

It's a park ( Burle Max Park ) inside the city, in a neighborhood called Morumbi, one of the welthiest parts of the city. It's about 3 kilometes of the place on the picture above.
So Paulo has other parks and most of then are bigger than this one. Another nice place is Butantan Institute, qhere you can really forget you're in a city with 20 million inhabitants.

I'll be honest with you: your Municipal Market is much, much cleaner than the wet markets I have in Manila, the Philippines, my former home. I sense that it has tons of shops, selling all sorts of goods, and it is neat and organized!

As for your pedestrian-only streets, I can truly see myself walking along them, taking similar shots as you have, and I would immediately put them on my albums. So Paulo indeed is something I would really look forward coming to someday!

I've seen in some of your pictures a buildings with large antennas tower on top. What are those: media firms or telecom companies?

And by the way, your Metro looks really clean, neat, and simple. Wonderful!
