Dubai may seem pretty in pictures, but your set shows that it must be terrible to live there.

Very very good job!
I think this region (UAE + Oman) deserves some time for visiting (more than a week).

Thank you all for your nice comments!
Hopefully I will be able to make some more photo trip reports in the future.
Planning to go to Australia in the near future, great country, with also some skyscraper cities.

Lovely pictures some wrong info here and there but.

Then again i am an absolute Dubai freak

Great tour u really catched all the spots. and the info about your desert camp not being around the best dunes is very acurate. I been to Dunes just abit further in Known as the Big red (red rock) and that is absolutely huge and beautiful

Thank you for your pics! I liked your story about you trip very much! I am also a huge fan of Dubai. This city is really awesome. But i can say one thing, the worst place in Dubai is Palm. It is rather boring to live here... But there are beautiful views as well.

Amazing trip! My favorite part of the visit was the tour of the old city, it looks spectacularly well maintained. I think Dubai has quite a lot of character in the port area.

Oh, and I absolutely loved the shot of the skyline from the port, with a construction crane framing the Burj Khalifa, very memorable.
