FNB Stadium, will be refered to as "National Stadium" during the tournament. This is as First National Bank is in competition with Standard Bank, a CAF sponsor.

No, Cape Town decided that it wasn't worth hosting the tournament.

I have no idea why cape town did not bid to host it. Spreads out the tournament around SA a bit more and allows it to be used rather than sit empty all the time.

If only that stadium was in europe :/

A map of Africa showing the qualified nations, highlighted by stage reached.
Taken from wikipedia, obviously none of them have got past the group stage yet :p

^ Its interesting the way they do it, 2 matches in a stadium in a day, can you buy tickets for a whole day (2 games)?

Yes, you pay once for both matches. The first 2 rounds of group stage matches are grouped like that.

How come only 3 games in the entire tournament are played at the National Stadium?

Yes but soccer city nis obviously the biggest and tyhe best? And for spectators to only have 2 opportunities to visit it seems odd. They shouldve help semi final 2 there.

Mbombela and Nelson Mandela hold 8 games each!

It would probably look bad with few people in it.
