minor tower horribly slowly up, but the main tower site, as I can see, almost without progress - it looks like store of steel for founding of middle building placed between the towers
It seems only some pilling works are visible...

Ch.W, thanks for updating photos and keep Your job on !

I hope the progress accelerate finally...

It is all reinforcement steel going into caissons under the main tower. Note those workers assembling cages from rebars.

@pteranodon, You're right ! Now I see ! Very long cages ready and next just assembling + vehicles with liquid concrete awaiting (now I know why)

My eyes aren't so good already like Yours

Pilling is in full swing for the main tower. These steel cages are really long, looks pretty impressive.

I'm sure it will. The whole project is developing fast and the main tower will rise soon enough.
I have now idea why it's so behind the rest (i don't understand the schedule in this case) but the last pictures shows they are doing their job and "the show goes on".

It must be case they planned to build and finish lower objects first, but I also prefer, when tallest towers are completed sooner than lower ones

it's rarely the case though. The big ones are often for the last phase of these projects

Sometimes, but I have also seen occasions where the main tower was completed first- long before the supporting towers around it were built.

I am anxious to see the main tower rise here. I imagine if this is built, fully clad, it will look somewhat similar to the CTF Center in Guangzhou.

Where do you see some similarity?

Vertical lines, similar height and cladding, and square footprints. But I do realize it is a bit of stretch comparing the two. I did say "somewhat" similar.
What I meant in comparing the two was I think this one will look in real life as similar to its' render as CTF did.

If they actually build all of the on going projects Shenyang will get China's best skyline. Unlike virtually any other first tier skyscraper city in China, all of Shenyang's skyscrapers excepting a couple of them will be aligned along the so called Golden Corridor, composing one single lineal CBD which will look absolutely amazing from any perspective.

yeah, a few weeks ago I drove the street for like 10km in streetview and looked at a reference map with all the U/C and proposed buildings to know what it would look like if all stuff was complete. It is more than 10km and when one awesome skyscraper is behind you, you can already see the next plot

now that you made me excited about the city again, i updated the SSP map again, should feature about all 200m+ U/C and finished ones and also all proposed supertalls now. http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/maps/?cityID=918

Am I right when I say this will be the 3rd or 4th tallest building in China when completed?

Pearl of the North is the sixth tallest in China if we consider buildings under construction at the moment. But no one can be sure about its ranking at the time it is completed.

And at least the 7th tallest in the world if not 8th, 9th or 10th

By the same logic, 10th tallest in the world if we count only buildings that are either completed or under construction.
