This city looks very mundane compared to the other European capital.

It's far from mundane....with its mix of old and new, it's actually quite interesting. You can say some buildings are ass-ugly (most of the crap built during communist era), but I wouldn't call the city mundane. Warsaw has a nice atmosphere, IMO.

I've read many history books and I say judging by these photos and other photos and videos I've seen it looks mundane compared to other European capitals.

If you really had, you wouldn't be making any comparisions to other unspoiled by war cities. It's like... saying to a girl that she looks mundane knowing, that her neighbour has burned her face when she was young. Would you say that to her? Of course you have the right to state your opinion, but when you do, I have the right to judge you. And the judgement is that you are unfair.

don't worry, when you grow up you'll realize "looks" aren't everything and bang for your buck is great

The photos are very interesting to look at! You are a good photographer, but Warsaw looks really ugly on these pics. There, I said it.

LSyd, nice pictures. Not very typical, but they give us a different look at our capital. I also hope that you spent a minute thinking while visiting some of these places.

Don't you think you're being a little extreme in your opinion? Typical European. I think Warsaw would be much more interesting to the average American, Canadian, Australian etc.

I would not call these "really ugly" views. This is a pretty distinctive place in Warsaw.

I know a good place to get cheap food on this corner.

I'm alittle shocked by the rudeness of some of the comments on here. Even if you're not a big fan of the city, that doesn't give you the right to be rude. The photos are very nice and I'm sure he worked hard to show you all the sights. As my mother use to tell me, If you don't have anything nice or constructive to say, then don't say anything at all!
