SHENZHEN | Baishizhou Redevelopment | 600m | 1968ft | 350m x 8 | 1148ft x 8 | 250m x 10 | 820ft x 10 | Pro

We can expect several supertalls in this area, but the project seems too preliminary by the moment.

Ho-ly CRAP.

I could make a joke about YET another few supertalls for this city but I guess it's becoming old.

This is unbelievable if true.

Wow that vision looks futuristic. I have no idea how Shenzhen will look in 10 years. This is madness.

It is not too unrealistic to say that Shenzhen will have as many supertalls as Dubai by 2025.

This would be great

The big one, if you compare with the Pingan should be 570 to 580 meters if the compare is right...

i still think they have Ping An too small in the picture, because if you look if that would be 660m stock exchange, the black on left of Ping An with 230m would also not fit too well. i think the whole thing might be inaccurate though, they don't expect people to pause the video and take a close look i guess

if nothing goes wrong ( like in dubai ) shenzhen will be a megacity never seen before. the dimensions will be so gigantic that nobody really can realize it.

Especially because it's hard to make out where Shenzhen stops and where other cities begin.

Judging from the diagram, the tallest tower is ~580m.

It is said they will begin phrase 1 construction, which includes the landmark tower and residential buildings in 2014 and expects to finish around 2017 (only for residential buildings)

Well, it won't be Shenzhen alone. It will probably merge with the other cities in the Pearl River Delta.

The megatower is a part of the first phase? Wow, I was worried they wouldn't build it till they have developed a decent skyline. Just like Shanghai Tower in Lujiazui, East Tower in Guangzhou, etc...

I think they hardly care about the skyline. Anyway, there are many clusters in the city.

This project will do a good job in connecting the Futian cluster with the Nanshan/Houhai cluster.
