I certainly wouldn't trust Qantas with spaceflight. Not to mention the service.

Their safety record is a legacy of the past. They are running on luck these days.

No more Virgin Galactic.

Who would pay $200,000 to fly to 60,000ft?

The US U2 spy plane can get to 70,000ft with jet engines.

Richard Branson's "Virgin Galactic" flights are planned to go to at least 100km (328 000 feet) altitude, which is generally considered to be where space begins.
