I just can't stand the hubris. I mean, I know all big-name developers are arrogant but Shvo is just too much even for me. I'd like to see Gary Barnett slap him across the face.

Good one!

New York and Tel Aviv are about the only places on Earth that this guy could survive (though maybe LA and Miami too). He is a supreme putz.

I don't get what all the hub bub is about mr michael shvo! The guy seems really down to earth.... In a super metrosexual, 1% kind of way.... Umm.. Yeah. I'd definitely have a beer with this guy! ( I mean as long as he's not gluten free)

Of the 128 proposed condo units, 10 will be full-floor penthouses. The top unit is slated to be a 10,600-square-foot duplex, as previously reported
I am looking forward to this tower! Downtown needs more supertalls. I wonder how much that top unit is going to go for? Views of the Hudson and World Trade Center will be tough to beat!

Insanely, that penthouse will be looking down on all the WTC towers except for number One. And even then, it will be looking directly across at the new highest observatory in the city (where they're going to charge $31 a head for trips to the top, so hey, whoever lives here could always supplement their income when they're away).

Still, the neighborhood isn't commanding the same prices as Midtown and areas like NoMad, so I'll be very curious to see what they put it on the market for.

the views should be more lucrative than the towers around Central Park, but around Central Park is where the rich flock to. You'll be able to look down on Jersey City and see Newark from up top. You'll get a panoramic harbor and Ocean view. It'll be nuts.

The smashing success that 30 Park is enjoying with sales has gotta want for Shvo to get the ball rolling asap.

Did Shvo play Derek Zoolander in the movie?

The 10th Ave./24th St. property is a superluxury condo and already financed. It will cater to art patrons.

And he's as well-capitalized as any residential developer in NYC. The guy has tons of Israeli financial backers.

125 Greenwich now has $240 million in financing, BTW. This supertall will likely be rising soon.

I'm equally interested in the Shvo Tower site on 57th Street. There have been no leaked details, except I think NY Yimby had a floor count at some point. I think I know the property location, but am not 100% certain.

Regardless, the WTC tower looks a lot taller and more massive.

Yeah, this building could compliment 1wtc very nicely. People will lol at this tower and think... Damn that's tall. And then they'll glance over at 1wtc and think "wow that's just as tall as the other tower.... And it's so massive."

People will most likely think this tower is part of the WTC complex. Can't blame them ...
