I like the crown. Blue glass boxes are starting to get old.

well done, Vinoly. I can appreciate this far better than the recent changes to the WTC. A shame that there will be one less 400m tower in NYC, however. That being said, that's how spoiled we NYC skyscraper fans are these days.

The new design looks great! But it doesn't look like 400m+ anymore.

Far from the doom and gloom of recent days here brought on by the Ingles radical redesign of WTC2, now we have some great stuff to excite us with this upgraded(though as noted shortened a bit) 125 Greenwich...1,150 ft or so is much better than the rumors of under 900 ft we were hearing , though. Add to that Trinity and 80 South Street and we may have a great skyline yet for Lower Manhattan!

I think the minor height reduction was a good move. The proportions are nice.

No, but we most recently thought it was going to be around ~850 feet (260 meters) so the current ~360 meters is a very nice surprise, plus it complements the WTC better at this height.

I'm very happy with the changes they have made to this project.

It does look like it. I didn't realize that the bedrock was really that close.

It's a solid supertall. Yeah, I thought that 400+ was too good to be true... With 432 Park Avenue already realized I never truly believed in another jackpot like it... But I'm happy with 360m too.

This kind of news is just enough to give us skyscraper fans a steel-superstructure erection of our own.

Topped out: 1

By 2017, New York will have almost 20 supertalls U/C!

Btw, this tower is obviously U/C - look at the rebar!
