Well there's quite the list of proposed as well, by 2017 there might be at least 20 buildings over 300m complete or not
This
1WTC
2WTC
3WTC
Possibly 80 south street and the other site on trinity
The three supertalls on related's sight in the Hudson yards
The Girisol
Silverstein's tower
Central park tower
111w 57th
1 park lane
The new proposal at UES
1 Vanderbilt
Completed there's ESB, 432 park, 1-57, Chrysler, BOA, and NYT
And by 2020 there's 35 Madison, the Hudson spire, Hudsen Yards phase 2 and the pinnacle.
I believe 20 supertalls by 2017 is possible, maybe not likely but nevertheless amazing times for NY fans.

There are even more Sites where we could see a supertall rising by then, 1710 Broadway, the former SYMS site downtown, the Related and JDS sites in Bk etc...
But even if we keep it to how many supertall NYC will have based on what's currently u/c or in prep mode, NYC will have at least 15 supertalls son by 2020 (17 if you count BOA and the NY Times tower, which I refuse to count as supertalls).

1) Nordstrom
2) Steinway
3) One Vanderbilt
4) 1 WTC
5) 2WTC
6) 30 HY
7) ESB
8) 125 Greenwhich
9) 3WTC
10) 520 west 41th
11) TV
12) Chrysler
13) 35 HY
14) one57
15) 1 Manhattan West

That's still quite impressive considering there were only 2 Supertalls at the beginning of the decade, ESB and Chrysler (again excluding BOA and NY Times tower).
But I also believe the number will be closer to 20 with all those proposed supertalls.

I wasn't being serious, but I do kinda see some spires up there (not saying those are 3WTCs spires obviously)

Indeed, there does seem to be some sort of feature up top to accentuate the height.

We need a new render, this has a great chance to make a better impact on the skyline than the value-engineered and corporate take over of the WTC

Where's the 1,350 from? According to what we have seen its more like 1,100'. Do you know something we don't?

Yimby approximates 1200'. The renderings from Shvo make it seem so.

From here: SEC filing. Go to page 12.

The filing has a nice overview of other projects like 111 Murray, Park Lane etc..

It says "As of March 31, 2015". So it might still state the old (wrong) height.

All of the sources with that height are older that the most recent renders which show it clearly in the 1100ft. range. Too much conflicting information.
