The WTC is going to look so amazing when it's all done

If of course, that ever happens.

indeed. This is what cityrealty envisions. 2 WTC may not be completed, and 45 Broad will be taller than depicted.

2WTC will be completed but it might be a while. Also, hopefully it won't be BIG's design, and even more hopefully 125G will look nothing like that pile of trash in the picture.

The WTC will look anything but amazing. A giant missed opportunity. Calatrava is the only architect involved that brought his "A" game.

Where did the 1001 feet come from? Kind of lame for 91 floors if true...

Who ever changed the title just did 91 floors times 11 foot ceilings. 1001 is nothing official.

From nowhere. It's acutally from the CTBUH, but there's no source for it. I think it's just an approximation for supertall status.
So for now we don't have any official info on the final height.

EDIT: f.e. 145 East 60th Street is also listed as 1,001ft, and 45 Broad St as 1,099ft.

it means that Calatrava's design was value engineered the least

Both 7 and 4 were not value engineered at all but they had very simple designs.

somehow no one identifies the WTC complex with either of those buildings, and especially T7

Great looking (albeit simple) tower, though, would deserve a little more prominence.

It's much better than this render, which shows just a weird "plus sign" shape at the top:

Is there a final decision on the look of the tower? Or it is still a mystery?

I think (and hope to God) that's an old rendering.

That belongs in Dubai, not here...
