Lmao @ that bathtub with no faucets or anything. It's just a bowl of water. Also the background is odd, I wonder why they didn't show midtown.

Maybe the clientele are rich enough to have chambermaids fill the tubs for them?

And yeah, I wondered about the view too, but it checks out:

You'd think they would want to stretch the view slightly to the right to get ESB, etc. in there. But maybe this is a clue that, between the orientation of the tower and the rising 2 and 3 WTC, there won't be much of a Midtown view to speak of? (Which, if true, would be a big downside for me. The harbor is nice and all, but if I'm paying tens of millions, come on...)

Ah, that makes sense. I was expecting a dramatic 432 Park-like view in the render, but at least they're being honest.

I still think the previous height of 1300ft and slim "body" would've looked great here.. next to the WTC site.

There is a faucet actually. Just a strange looking one.

If I were a billionaire looking to buy in this building I'd think, "Hmmm... 91 floors and 1001 feet. It must have really low ceilings." But I'm sure it's probably more like 71 actual floors and 20 nonexistent floors.

that tub is for training the rich to become superheroes, not for bathing:

Anyway, I think the views of the city are great, but I think that the appeal of the harbor view is the swath of open sky. A vast horizon such as that is a true luxury in this city and undoubtedly a huge selling point.

Wait, what the hell? Yes they did. It looks like somebody did not clean up their Photoshop board before they hit export...

And a second good catch! Very weird. Almost like medical equipment or some kind of high tech torture device. I'll stick to my chambermaids and their buckets, thanks.

Nice spotted!.. crazy how it didn't even raise an eyebrow before you commented xD. I guess I was what's called watching but not seeing xD.
What I saw.. though.. isn't wtc7 somewhat strange in the right side? The color difference.

You'd think they'd actually photoshop it out, if anything. It's an eyesore.

In all reality, that view will be blocked by (or include, to look at it positively) 3WTC and either a Foster masterpiece or a stack of boxes.

he-who-must-not-be-named on this website has a keen eye. He posted this article on the YIMBY forums.

http://nypost.com/2016/03/15/apparel...spring-prince/

Quote:
[...]
The Chinese have come up with $175 million in EB-5 money for Michael Shvo, Howard Lorber’s New Valley and Bizzi & Partners Development’s skyscraping 125 Greenwich St.

A further equity raise will soon be overseen by JLL, sources said.

With no height limits, the Rafael Vinoly-designed residential condominium tower is expected to be the tallest in the downtown area with the highest occupied floor at 990 feet.

The crown of the project will have a triplex filled with building amenities before a visually appealing tower topper is expected to bring it further into the clouds.

A sales office is expected to open after Labor Day on the 84th floor of the nearby One World Trade Center.

Both JLL and Shvo spokespersons declined comment.
[...]

supertall confirmed.

Well, perhaps not as tall as I might have hoped, but at least it is still a supertall. Hopefully with a crown, this will be at least as tall as the Chrysler Building.
The final design will make or break this project for me. Imagine something like 340 Flatbush here...

If the highest occupied floor is 990', my guess is this one will be around 1100'. I wonder if this or 45 Broad will make some changes to claim the tallest residential tower title downtown.
We already knew it was gonna be tall, now let's see the damn design.

Why bother imagining something good? We already know who the architect is.

hmmm. This appears to be in line with what they've already shown us. I wonder if this is more or less the final design.

the rendering on Shvo's website depicts a very similar design:
