Looks around 960'. Should probably await official confirmation though.

These renders really don't look great and the reduced height is disappointing from the 1300+ original figure. I know the forum didn't like the idea of a 432 glass version that was first posted, but considering the skyline growth on both ends of the island and in JC/Brooklyn - that tall slender 432 copy might have looked nicer in the coming years. This isn't looking great (IMO), but sometimes the designs get tweaked or the building looks better than the renders. The stripes down the side look cheap in the render.

I agree. And if this turns out not even being a supertall, the project will be all but ruined. The design looks like it only would be successful if they use the highest quality materials, and at 1001ft. this will hardly look taller than 4WTC.
It won't have the height to width ratio of that building either.

I agree it blows in comparison to what we were expecting/had our hopes up for but at the end of the day a ~960 foot building is still a great addition.

I do however, think they're keeping it below the WTC towers on purpose to not ruin the spiral and it's annoying.

I don't find that annoying. I think there's value to preserving a certain aesthetic.

Agreed. Plus, the consensus seems to be that the design isn't stellar, so I'm a bit confused why some people still want it to be taller. A height reduction is very welcome in my book.

I love how NYC are putting up supertalls (if it'll remain) in tiny parcels of land.
