The sky terrace in that render should be removed, or at least modified it doesn't look good.

It looks like the Singapore one. The trees in the earlier renders also seemed to be inspired by the Gardens by the bay in Singapore.

This billion dollar investment is like a jackpot for Madrid/Spain, especially in times like these. Protests like these will not only affect this project, but also decisions of other potential future investors.

I think that protests are not that strange due to the size of the project and the founded feeling that says big project = corruption

I don't think so. I'm sure that in the next ten years the M tower should be a reality and also the rest of the project!

The renders look like a mix between Times Square a huge Las Vegas hotel and those futuristic skytrees in Singapore.

It does, just not as good. Perhaps it's just the render which does look a bit cartoonish.
