I remember reading about this Disney Gambling World somewhere.
It was Sheldon Adelson's idea to built a new Vegas/Macao in Europe.
There were a number of locations/countries which could house this mega project.
Eventually Spain got the project by promising low taxes or even no taxes at all to Adelson's Sands Corporation.

A good constructive impulse to confront the crisis in Spain

Looks very out of proportion. I count 100 floors. I wonder if such ''thing'' is possible to build, it would cost a lot of money for sure, just look how small the usable floor space is. This is Dubai Pearl 2.0

I really hope the last one is just a "mindjob". The M hotel however would be my really cute IMO.

This can't be built, unless the developers are blind. Spain's economy won't grow again for 5+ years due to their youth unemployment...

This will totally get built. Casinos love taking advantage of the poor and vulnerable.

Any illusions of this place being high class and fun are based on bull shit. It's where people go to throw money away in the most efficient way possible.

Hope so because it could very well be the ugliest skyscraper ever built ahead of the worst ones from Benidorm.

Hope the M is a reality though.

Definitely the developers must be blind. This Adelson is after all an idiot known for his failed business. And after all this complex is exclusively focused to serve Spaniards and not Europe and North Africa. Because Adelson didn't take into account Spain is among the most visited countries in Europe (second?) and the World (third, fourth?)

Besides, even the most pesimist forecasts say that Spain will grow either next year or the following one. But they're blind. This won't be built! This can't be built! No, no, no!

The other Adelson complex in Singapore sure is full of mediocrity.

2nd in the world...

He neither thought that in crisis times, land and labour is much cheaper and that complexes like this can take years to develop... and that after those years of developens Spain might be growing...

And that's exactly why you should start now. Prices and costs are low. Construction company's work at no or very low margin so its cheap to build now. The only issue is financing but for this company that shouldn't be a problem. And this project creates jobs, especially for youth and is thus a great opportunity for the region.

This looks rather weird. To me it looks like the engineering system for such a building would be extremely complex. So far I'm not convinced that this is for real
