NOIDA Sec-44 | Yamunotri | W Hotel-288m-63fl | St.Regis Hotel-220m-46fl | Site Prep

Yamunotri - Mixed Use Development, Noida

Quote:
Client: Madhvilata Granites, Mumbai - India
Architect: WS Atkins and Partners Overseas, Dubai - UAE

The building complex is located in Noida, a modern, fast-growing ambitious suburb of New Delhi. The project sets new standards in quality, complexity and design on the Indian market. It consists of two towers with a maximum height of ~ 270 m, 7 pebble-shaped building volumes and a transparent construction connecting with a 20m high vertical facade. In addition, the front face is bonded by an almost 500m long, wave-like roof. All building parts are built-up of free-formed volumes. Computer-aided programming Allows the complex geometries of the tower fašade to be implemented with rectangular planar elements. The free-formed volumes of the plinth base are composed of triangular, partially opaque and partially transparent elements. The buildings will be designed to achieve the LEED Gold status Which, in addition to the high geometric and architectural requirements, thus involve Appropriate technical solutions.

I remember this project was first thought to be in Uttarakhand, but Noida makes more sense for such a project.

Sweet!

I've created a new thread so that this project gets more visibility. Can someone recheck the floor count for the smaller tower please?

I knew that St. Regis & W hotels were gonna come up at that plot (t'was previously mentioned in the NCR hotels thread), but didn't expect them to check into a ubercool development like this. With Supernova next door and Celeste nearby, this should form a nice mini-cluster in that part of the city.

After a little digging around..

This dude's profile on LinkedIn reveals that B.E. Billimoria is the civil contractor and has been associated with the project since at least October 2011.

JSW Steel has listed the project in a 'about us' press release from Oct 2012.

• A local company called R. K. Metal Engg. Works has been subcontracted a tiny part of the project by BEB for some "Steel Building and Glazing" work worth 110 lakh. Maybe this is for the site or sales (for the mall) office?

Seeing all^ these companies involved in addition to the sat. imagery, one can't help but notice that the project is ON

I feel Noida will give a tough competition to Mumbai by 2025 or 2030 to become the best skyline of India

As per the LinkedIn profile of a senior architect at Atkins, the shorter tower will be 220m tall:

Quote:
Yamunotri Mixed Use Twin Tower Development, Noida, Delhi (Winner of Limited Design Competition)

A 380,000m2 development comprising a 550 key W Hotel with 6000 pax conference facility, a 300 key St. Regis Hotel, 60,000m2 office and a 500m long retail mall. The project incorporates towers of 270m and 220m in height, and a five-storey podium. It has been designed to obtain LEED Gold status, and is currently in the detailed design stage
I've added it to the title.

Thanks for digging out the heights guys! So with Supernova next door and BPTP Capital City too, that will make a small, but pretty incredible cluster.

Small different view of the project from Starwood's website -

btw, thanks Gsouza for keeping track of projects.

HOLY CRAMOLY! when this along with BPTP capital city, Supernova and celeste tower get built the entry to noida expressway will look like some space age shit! Proper CBD. Noida is going to have many sexy Business district clusters. One at the city centre, one over here and a minicluster at sector 18, with WAVE 1 which is a 40 storey and Wave vertica which has 2 buildings that 45+ storeys. HEAVEN!!!!!

Yes.GE shows some sort of movement going on there but the latest updates are not clear due to thick cloud cover.
