I feel everyone is missing Glidescube's point, i.e. what happens when you ride a lift that opens directly into your suite and you're not alone in that lift? Do those neighbours—making a proper use of English, he accurately referred to them as "strangers"—get to catch a glimpse of the many empty pizza boxes scattered on the carpet of your luxurious condo when the doors open?

Well, the answer is "no". As a happy user of such an ingenious artefact, I'm in a position to reveal how—the lift is bicompartmental. When the merry few insert their personal card, the doors of the main compartment open into a private compartment, then those doors shut away from the intrusive gaze of any neighbours, and the doors of the private compartment placidly open up into the unit. When riding the lift alone, one may enter a PIN code after inserting his card if he wants to have both doors open at the same time. As for the hoi polloi, namely those who do not own a unit with direct access, they have a separate lift which just opens into a disturbing maze of hallways where they may be lucky enough to find their condo, heh.

If you have any guests, there is a kind doorman who requests their ID's, checks if you are "available" (it is possible to set specific time frames when you don't want to be disturbed), grants them access to the video intercom, and once you press a button to let them in, provides them with a temporary PIN code which expires after one use or 300 seconds and enables them to use the private compartment that opens directly into your condo.
