Flew from zurich to bilboa last week on a cs100 and in the passenger cabin it seemed pretty loud.
then the flight back was delayed more than 2 hours because they had problems with the intended aircraft. not sure if it was supposed to be a cs100 because the aircraft they used in the end was an a320 and it was pretty full.

In another hand, being a unique "all Bombardier" airline in the middle of Europe promises a lot of advantages for small carrier, like AirBaltic

So, I think chances for BBD are good. And these good chances are good for AirBaltic as well
It seems like AirBaltic was trying to make a splash either way with brand new planes. Embraer's E2 planes weren't ready for the current push by AirBaltic so BBD won the order. The E2's may be ready for this next competition so we'll see if BBD can pull it out.

Reminds me a bit about the San Francisco dedicated "Flower Power" Livery of a Swiss A340 years ago. The red bow on the turbofans could be nice on all their all white planes.

More infos about the "why" swiss choose this livery.

Though no CSeries sales are expected at the Paris Air Show, it looks like Bombardier has been able to move the Q400.

Turboprop sales to Spicejet give Bombardier a boost at Paris Air Show

Alicja Siekierska - Financial Post
June 20, 2017 3:54 PM EDT

After a quiet opening day at the Paris Air Show, Bombardier Inc. announced Tuesday that it has secured a letter of intent from India’s Spicejet Ltd. for up to 50 Q400 aircraft, a move one analyst says ensures the viability of the turboprop program.

The signed agreement for the purchase of 25 Q400 turboprops and the rights to buy an additional 25 jets could be worth up to US$1.7 billion, based on the list price of the jet, and is a sign that demand is healthy in markets that cannot support more expensive planes, said Bombardier’s commercial aircraft president Fred Cromer. SpiceJet currently operates 20 78-seat Q400 aircraft, and plans on configuring the new orders to an 86-seat model.

Also signed a Letter of Intent with South Africa's CemAir for 2 further Q400's.

So much more refined looking than a Boeing, Airbus or Embraer..
