Seriously, are there enough rich people in the world to fill up all these buildings? Still can't believe how they can make money with it, looks like an overkill on buildings to me. SURE LIKE IT THOUGH!!!

Yup, there are enough "rich" people in the world to fill up all these buildings... that's why these buildings have been sold out for a long time now and are selling at over 100% premium right now

No new megaprojects. Just a few more towers within existing projects, some in the marina, tecom and difc.

Don't think so.

Latest by Nakheel, just some more sprawl. Was originally part of jumeirah village but they redesigned and launched it properly. Jumeirah village has now been split into Jumeirah Village south and Jumeirah Park

Jumeirah Park

Also that's a nice render of palm jumeirah and JLT, pity they didn't include the supertalls of the marina though

Marina Residences, 15F on Palm Jumeirah. Again just a redesigned project that existed for ages on the palm

Dubai Investments Park, this existed for ages but never had a thread. There are a few subprojects already existing such as dubai lagoon, etc.

A lot of new info on DIFC from civicarts. There are also towers here that we never knew about such as the diamond gate towers, one of which looks to be about 340m high.

Where is the hexagon in the DIFC masterplans, wasn't it planned to be built as part of the DIFC?

^ i do.
i think the DIFC looks great, but lacks some serious aesthetic balance in terms of towers around the central gate area. more towers would only help.

Well in the 3D pics there's a part of difc missing. Sky gardens and some others will be built there. Another tower would be nice in that empty space beside the gate village.

BTW, some stuff from today

The Forum in business bay has been redesigned from

to this:

Also a new tower for the marina

Pier 8, 40F

Good redesign in the BB. It fits better there where a lot of the tower launched already are stylisicly pure and often with a metalliccolored facade.

And i like the new marina tower, if the nightlighting wll be like that. The marina needs more colorful nightlightings like the grosvenor house. Imagine how it would look at night with more nightlightings like that. I like when a area has a certain "theme" that defines it.

Question about the big jumeirah park, will it really be a park with greenery/plazas, without any residents? If so its huge .
